Duties and responsiblites:
Properly test, evaluate and recondition tools.
Troubleshoot Tools and complete repairs with proper documentation on at least 3 of the following tools: Pistol drills, magnum drills and screwdrivers, magnum hammer drills, pistol hammer drills, palm/orbital sanders, drain cleaners, 4 ½” sanders/grinders, shears, German hammers, magnum R.A.D. nibblers, cordless caulk guns, cordless drills, and 14 volt cordless impacts.
Troubleshoot and perform minor equipment repairs. Provide feedback to maintenance and Sr. Technicians as needed. Learn and complete corrective actions as directed.
Assist with training co-workers as necessary and requested.
Perform work with accuracy and within a reasonable time.
Identify, troubleshoot and correct problems as they arise.
Assist Sr. Technicians with orders as needed.
Maintain good housekeeping by keeping area and equipment clean, neat and safe.
Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
Communicate appropriately with other personnel, including other shifts as necessary.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned, including working other shifts as needed.
High School or GED diploma required. Basic math skills required. Mechanical and/or electronic background preferred but not required.
Minimum 2 years experience working in manufacturing or mechanical environment preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
Ability to read and understand work instructions. Must possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
