Job Description


This position is responsible for leading Electronic and Motor teams, will

Deliver NPD and value engineering and product support engineering projects successfully.

Develop and enhance our design engineering expertise, system & tools.

Collaborate with suppliers to drive incoming material quality and delivery flexibility.

so as to support Milwaukee fast growing business.


NDP/PSE projects delivery

Deliver all NPD and VE/PSE projects successfully especially key platform projects: Manage the design & development works and resources and drive them with priorities, concise plans and concrete milestones so as to deliver project on time & with expected quality.

Create and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Improve EMC performance of designs to prevent late discovery of problem or re-design.

Fully utilize the FA system.

Improve developmental test plan template.

 EE & Motor expertise development

Establish, review and continually improve component's design, development and qualification procedure.

Implement new techniques and tools to the new product development process to shorten development cycle time.

Enhance PRC firmware development capability.

Develop expertise for key technologies.

Enhance PRC firmware development capability.

 Supplier development

Work with cross-function (Sourcing, Quality/SQE, etc.) to secure suppliers for critical / strategic platform projects.

Collaborate with current suppliers to ensure that the parts meet application requirements, quality, cost and schedule.

Improve and expand supplier base to support future business growth.

Lead & develop team and organization.

Create and drive initiatives to improve team operation.

Organize and supervise the activities of different sub teams of EE & Motor.

Provide direction, coaching and motivation so as to engage the team to achieve goal and build proactive, innovate, technically strong & high performing team.

Key Performance Indicators:

Project delivery especially critical projects (lead time and quality)

Cost effectiveness (Value Engineering)

People's engagement (satisfaction/retention)

Organizational capability (technical competencies & leadership)

Key Requirements:

Bachelor or above in electronic engineering

10+ years in electronic product R&D (from concept to drawing) in MNC companies in automotive, home appliance and power tool industry preferred with electronic engineering expertise.

5+ years at managerial position (Electrical/Electronic/Motor R&D Leader)
