Job Description

The goal of the Regional Account Manager is to generate sales and cross-selling opportunities from our existing customers. They will also be responsible for developing and closing new leads via online prospecting, phone sales, connections at trade shows, and working with our independent sales representatives located within their territory. This position will require a competitive attitude, proven sales skills, ability to be organized and work within a team. Our sales team is results driven and we promise to keep you moving in our fast paced environment.
The position reports to the Sales Manager at Imperial Blades

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
*In-person visits and telephone conversations with existing customers
*Attend trade shows to develop relationships with existing customers and generate new leads
*Cross sell and upsell to existing customers
*Ability to follow up and see multi-step sales process through to completion
*Participate in weekly sales meetings
*Work with marketing department to make suggestions for marketing materials
*Hit monthly sales goals
*Keep Customer account up to date within CRM
*Enter orders into MRP system

Education and/or Experience:
* Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of sales related experience
* Demonstrated track record of success
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, Excel
* Experience in the hardware, tool or tool accessory industry preferred
* Experience working with an CRM/ERP system, specifically NetSuite preferred
* Understanding of the Pareto principle (80/20) and philosophy of how to apply this to business
priorities is also preferred
