Job Description

The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative support to the facilities Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Become familiar with all aspects of the Facilities Department.
  • Assist in obtaining bids from outside vendors for projects and services.
  • Assist in evaluating and scheduling daily tasks along with maintaining the facilities task list.
  • Issue Purchase Orders for facility and office needs.
  • Issue security badges for vendors and contractors and act as backup to HR for employee badges
  • Maintain files of all facilities paperwork including invoices, equipment checklists, etc.
  • Keep track of notes and minutes for facility's meetings.
  • Keep track of employee locker assignments.
  • Complete projects assigned by Facilities Management.
  • Champion the Safety Culture by scheduling safety meetings and directing meetings along with the manager.
  • Collect, complete, report, file, and maintain all safety related and OSHA documentation.
  • Assist the Human Resources Dept. as needed.
  • Maintain equipment operator certifications and software entries.
  • Assist the maintenance dept. as needed.
  • Prepare meeting notes and PowerPoint slides as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, network drive, and scanning
    • Proficient at maintaining files and documents
