Job Description

Candidate is experienced in influencing and collaborating with cross-functional IT stakeholders and can present a framework for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate thoughtful judgment, will be self-motivated, and an intuitive communicator. This role will lead the IT change management process.

  • Design, develop, implement and continuously improve the Change Management processes, procedures, and methodologies based upon ITIL principles, and governing policies
  • Ensure Milwaukee Tool's Change Management process maximizes value while reducing disruption
  • Ensure that all changes are recorded and evaluated
  • Ensure that authorized changes are prioritized, planned, tested, implemented, documented, and reviewed in a controlled manner
  • Provide recommendations and input to management on existing or new processes and procedures to improve the effectiveness of Change Management
  • Lead Change Advisory Board and ensure the board is authoritative, efficient, and effective
  • Ensure Change Advisory Board has appropriate representation from various business verticals & operations teams
  • Prepare and distribute change agenda for Change Advisory Board meetings
  • Lead implementation of any new Global Change Management polices changes/updates
  • Provide required change documentation and evidence collection for audit purposes
  • Responsible for management reports related to process outcomes and KPI reporting on effectiveness of Change Management
  • Provide guidance and coaching, develop training plans, and answer day-to-day questions for team members
  • Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to team members
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and After-Action Reviews to identify appropriate process solutions
  • Creating and maintaining toolkits, processes, and messaging for IT and business stakeholders
  • Will use ITIL change management methodology and tools. Will offer prescriptive guidance on how to tailor them to Milwaukee Tool's environment


  • ITIL Practitioner Certification
  • 5+ years of managing issues, specifically with change management methodologies and tools
  • Candidates must be detailed oriented and extremely organization
  • A track record of effectively owning process creation, management, and improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to measure the impact of change, both quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Excellent writing and verbal communications skills
  • Proven ability to influence without authority
