Job Description

This position is under the direction of and reporting to Sales Operations Manager. The primary duties of this position is to research and provide product specifications to our distributors. Specifications are provided through multiple technical means. The Sales Support Specialist will support new products as well as the maintenance of current sites and enhanced content within our largest distribution partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather detailed product specifications into Excel spreadsheets or enter through external portal sites
Proactively provide new product specifications at time of product launch
Work closely with sales account owners, product marketing and sales operations teams
Maintain accurate product information for our largest distribution partners
Assist Sales teams in gathering product specifications for ad hoc projects
Occasionally support sales projects and events, and learn about the distribution side of our business
Communicate with distributor contacts regarding deliverables
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred, not required
Position requires excellent analytic, written, verbal and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated problem solving and decision making abilities.
Proficiency in PC skills including MS Office (specifically Power Point and Excel)
Must have the ability to react to situations quickly and perform efficiently in a fast paced environment
