Customs and Logistics Manager

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Strategically plan and manage logistics, purchase orders, customs, and transportation.
  • Efficiently evaluate the costs of transportation, services, and inventory within any budget or distribution strategy.
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, delivery times, and efficiency.
  • Ensure all necessary customs documentation is prepared and coordinated between departments and sites.
  • Handle technical details relating to international transportation, such as customs regulations and any necessary documentation.
  • Effectively troubleshoot any issues that may arise in international and national freight transportation.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a logistics or supply chain manager.
  • Record of successful import, warehouse and logistics management.
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment.
  • Working knowledge of national and international import legislation.
  • Proficient in ERP/Oracle, MS Office.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience
