Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Perform work per work instructions
  • Inspection of components and workplace audits with documented results
  • Initiate corrective action as required
  • Knowledgeable regarding use of micrometers, calipers, plug gauges and other manual instruments
    • Capable of interpreting blue print features and understand how print features apply to various measurement methods
    • Ability to load and unload measurement devices to ensure measurements are taken correctly
    • Inspect incoming material per quality instructions
    • Enter NCR in computer and control parts until disposition is determined
    • Maintain received files and records
  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
  • Practice 5Ss

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions, as well as drawings and blueprints
  • Basic math skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Computer proficiency (Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Possess a positive attitude

 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Quality experience preferred
