Job Description
This unique and challenging role is a great opportunity to lead a variety of process improvement projects, play a critical part in large system solution implementation projects, and ensure all customers have an exceptional experience when doing business with Milwaukee Tool. This position will partner with cross-functional teams to develop business cases, requirements, and future-state process maps for a wide range of cost savings and automation projects. Working closely with Customer Supply Chain, Sales, Distribution, Sales Operations, Finance and IT teams, this individual will support a variety of business partner initiatives focused on ensuring timely, accurate, and seamless order fulfillment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead business case development and cost/benefit analysis of opportunities to help prioritize and quantify a variety of cross-functional projects
- Develop automated and efficient workflow management solutions to streamline processes, reduce manual errors, and eliminate non-value added work
- Lead pre-project efforts to define requirements and build out process maps to drive cost savings, provide best in class performance, and improve user experience for Milwaukee Tool distributors, end-users, and employees
- Drive large-scale order management and customer master system implementations to improve automation, productivity, and scalability
- Own Timeliness Order Management reporting to monitor and continuously improve Sales order processing
- Ensure compliance of all business policies and facilitate all open sales order to ensure appropriate order flow
- Collaborate with Customer Supply Chain and Customer Service teams to facilitate sales orders and ensure timely hold resolution
- Analyze backlog orders and lead review meetings to resolve root cause issues and drive sustainable solutions
- Lead projects with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate non-value-added activities, while working to automate and streamline processes
- Identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, processes and models to provide meaningful information to internal customers
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple processes and projects, while prioritizing appropriately
- Develop peer relationship with other division financial analysts to drive consistency in reporting, analysis and operational procedures and rhythm
- Optimize financial models and reporting to provide greater insight and recommendations to business leaders
- Easily adapt to changing needs of finance department and provide meaningful ad hoc "what-if" financial analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA a plus
- Minimum 2 years of directly related experience; computer science database or project mgmt. experience a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, with advanced Excel knowledge required. Power BI experience a plus
