Job Description

Responsible to manage all manufacturing operations. The role will innovate manufacturing processes and methods through continuous improvement, managing workflow and scheduling while maintaining financial goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations

- Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives

- Participate in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information systems, supply chain, people management, and cost

- Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time delivery

- Allocate resources effectively

- Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus

- Build and maintain a trusting relationship with employees

- Support KPIs and measure them on a regular basis

- Adhere to company's rules and regulations

- Monitor closely and improve processes and plan & get necessary internal operations resource to meet the production requirements

- Drive innovation and Continuous Improvement, Identify and implement changes to keep safety cost down, enhance productivity and upgrade efficiency and quality

- Generate required reports to keep Management informed while keep team focus on improvement efficiencies and metrics on target

- Establishes operations standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety and improved efficiency

- Maintains an adequate labor force and sets production goals to meet business demands while improving plant cost effectiveness by coordination of all production departments toward fulfillment goals (daily, weekly, annually)

- Manages policy deployment in the areas of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Demand Flow Technology techniques etc. to achieve quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls and plant performance measures

- Provides leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development in a way that supports improving the Milwaukee Electric Tool culture

Plant Manager. Requirements and Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing management or related discipline

- Influence manufacturability in design internally with the NPD teams. Actively engage with supplier and Process Engineering to evaluate potential new processes and materials to improve cost, reliability and quality

- Direct technical interface for customers

- Experience developing assembly test methods and systems

- Cross-functional collaboration expertise with prototype build and production groups

- Minimum 10 years' experience in an IMMEX manufacturing operation

- Extensive experience on manufacturing engineering that focus on production process, process improvement with the ability to communicate technical specification with engineering and quality

- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Practices

- Bilingual in Spanish and English

- Good interpersonal skills, self-motivated and capable to work under high

- Advance problem-solving skills

- Decision making within confines of agreed performance goals

- Ability to handle multiple customers/priorities with minimal supervision, under challenging conditions

- Strong oral, written, analysis and presentation skills

- Able to anticipate the needs of internal/external management and to resolve any issues impacting production plan satisfaction

- Optimize the use of human resources by encouraging an atmosphere of involvement, open communication and effective teamwork
