Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager of Training Programs, the primary duty is the development and implementation of product training resources for internal and external partner organizations. This role will provide consistent training solutions and customized training resources that align with company strategic goals and initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain a comprehensive product and applications training solution for field sales employees
  • Develop consistent product training curriculum for each sales role in conjunction with sales leadership to support company initiatives and sales goals
  • Work with cross-functional digital teams to help design gamification, narratives, and game mechanics that enrich the learning content
  • Leverage product marketing resources to deliver product and application training solutions through multiple modes of delivery (mobile, remote, virtual, in-person, self-paced)
  • Adapt product training solutions for remote training needs for internal and external partners
  • Lead the product training effort within the department for external distribution partners and end user partners
  • Continue to identify trends in external and external partner organizations and suggest product training solutions to solve identified needs
  • Working with Skilled Trades teams and user partners to provide product training resources on request (i.e. ETA, IEC, UA, PHCC ITI, and NTI, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain the Power Tool Safety Training resources as part of the organization's safety solutions to be delivered by field sales and training center partners
  • Develop the resources required to support the training elements of the Brand/Train/Sell/Support field strategy
  • Deliver critical training solutions on location as needed
  • Provide feedback to training teams and sales leadership on program effectiveness and suggest changes to improve results
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining professional networks; participating in related professional organizations

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent educational / work experience is required.
  • Strong understanding of UI and UX Design techniques and tools preferred
  • Knowledge of learning theories with emphasis on needs analysis is preferred
  • Three to five years of experience in Sales, Marketing and/or Training is preferred
  • Ability to travel 50% of time in US
  • Ability to speak Spanish is preferred
