Job Description

Title: Systems Trainer
This position will be located in Greenwood, IN. Training for this position will be located in Greenwood, MS until January 2021.

This position is the liaison between the business and the Process Lead for a given work steam. In this role, the SME brings the business requirements for their work stream to the lead and the project team. This persons considered the subject matter expert for their work stream.


This team member will be responsible for testing, work instruction documentation and training management. There is a component of sales in this role, this SME will need to sell the positive attributes of the technology that is helping solve business issues to their respective business team members. Their business knowledge, ability to look at/change processes, adaptation of process to new environment and positive attitude will be key in the successful training of AX and High Jump.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recognized as trusted team member with positive intent 
  • Helps business unit navigate complex or sensitive issues, keeping the business unit's best interest in mind & advising on best practice
  • Eagerly engages business unit in identifying issues, options & desire outcomes.  Develops a clear picture of the needs & best options from the business unit's perspective
  • Remains committed to helping the business unit long after initial solutions have been applied; follows up to make sure desired outcomes are realized
  • Works and collaborates effectively in unstructured or dynamic environments
  • Builds professional capability by acquiring new knowledge, seeking out new experiences and applying learning appropriately
  • Practice 5S and safety
  • Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction
  • Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned, including working other shifts as needed
  • Proficient in all Microsoft products to be considered a subject matter expert
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate team shifts
  • Ability to train others on technical skills and knowledge transfer
  • Self-directed in work and time management
  • Stays focused during times of uncertainty or change
  • Possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities required of role
  • Ability to:
  • Effectively present in small and large groups using current and professional materials; able to manage group dynamic during presentations
  • Successfully manage self, others, processes and material resources to achieve desired outcomes
  • Draw all members into active and enthusiastic participation
  • Handle difficult people and tense situations with diplomacy and tact



Physical Demands

  • Sitting at a desk and computer for long periods of time daily
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • College degree required.
  • Proficient typing and ten key skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of High Jump WMS and Microsoft Dynamics AX Required
